ZU shoe shopping terms & conditions 

Online Shopping
Please place any product of which the sizes are coloured dark grey into your shopping cart. If ZU Shoe Online is sold out, the size will be greyed out to inform you that the shoe may still be available in our stores. Please contact your store for availability using the ZU Store Finder.

Once you have finished shopping and wish to buy/view your selections online, please click the “Shopping Bag” icon which is always located in the top right hand corner of your screen.

Size Guides
You can guarantee your correct size and style with free returns!

So, if you are fretting about ordering the wrong size we recommend that you buy both sizes and return (for free via reply paid postage) the incorrect size, of which we will then refund your credit card for that pair. So you have nothing to lose!

Online Pricing and GST
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.
Occasionally, our online pricing may be slightly different than our stores, but we aim to keep these occurrences at a minimum. Any prices shown online are only valid online at the time shown.

Payment
ZU Shoe Online only accepts payment via credit cards - Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club and AMEX. We do not accept lay-bys, cash on delivery, gift vouchers or money order as online payment.

Payment Security is as much a concern to you as it is to us, which is why we use a 128 bit SSL GeoTrust certificate which ensures that confidential information and transaction details cannot be intercepted, altered or viewed. To further increase your security, ZU staff members do not have access to your full credit card details when you place an order online. Only our secure merchant bank will know and process your credit card details during this time.

Only one shipping method can be chosen per transaction. If you wish for some items to be standard and others via express, please complete two separate transactions.

Tracking
Standard and Express Parcels are able to be tracked via the Australia Post website. You will be sent a dispatch confirmation email including tracking number and instructions once your parcel leaves our warehouse. To track Platinum parcels or if you need further help please call us on 1300 ZU SHOE (98 7463) or email us.

If your parcel hasn't arrived please also check with your local post office as it may be waiting for collection. Parcels are taken to the nearest post office if a signature cannot be obtained on delivery. 

Stock Availability
Our shoe styles are “HOT” and therefore some lines may only be available for a limited time before sold out and not available for online purchase.
In the event that you have purchased a shoe which has for some reason is not available in our warehouse, we will aim to track the shoe down for you and will notify you of any delays within two working days.

Returns Policy
If, for any reason, you are unhappy with your purchase decision, simply return your unworn shoes in store (excluding ZU Direct Outlet stores) or via reply paid shipping within 7 days after receiving the shoes and we will gladly provide you with a refund or exchange. For all online purchases, the 7 day limit only applies to the days in which the shoes were in your possession, therefore eliminating any transit time.

Returns via Reply Paid Post
If you have purchased your shoes online you can choose to return or exchange your shoes to the online store via Reply Paid post which doesn’t cost you anything. Please see your return form for instructions.

To return your shoes via reply paid to our online store, please put the filled in return form (on the back of your delivery docket) in the shoe box when sending it. We don’t need any other information for reply paid returns. We will send you a confirmation email once we received and processed your return.

If you want to exchange a pair of shoes and can’t see it being available online, please contact us online to make sure we have the desired shoe in stock.

Shipping via Reply Paid method can take up to 10 business days. ZU recommends adding Australia Post item registration on to your reply paid return parcel. Reply paid parcels do not have an article or consignment number and lost parcels can therefore not be tracked. AUS Post registration costs $2.80 and can be purchased at any AUS post outlet. The first return shipping is for free. Any additional returns will attract a $9.95 shipping fee. We will process this fee payment over the phone with you or deduct it from outstanding refunds.

When you return a pair of shoes for an exchange what happens if the price on the shoe changed by the time your exchange is being processed? If you are exchanging for a different size or colour of the same style the exchanged shoe will not attract additional charges or refunds. If however you change your mind on the style we will have to treat it as a change of mind and will refund or charge any difference in price.

Refunds generally exclude shipping cost. If for some reason our quality control team missed a manufacturing fault on your new shoes or if we can’t provide the shoe you ordered, we will gladly provide you with a full refund (incl. shipping) or free exchange. The shipping cost will not be refunded on change of mind returns. Unfortunately, ZU Online can not exchange or refund shoes that have been worn or bought in one of our physical stores.

Returns in store
If you have purchased your shoes online you can choose to return or exchange your shoes to any one of our stores (excluding ZU Direct Outlet stores). For exchanges please contact your local ZU store to ensure it has the right shoe available.

Refunds are always performed using the method of payment. So if you choose to return the shoes in store please take your credit card with you to enable the staff member to process the return/exchange for you. You will also need a print out of your receipt which is emailed to you at the time of online purchase and your delivery docket.
